Let's Dive In!
Wow, I feel honored to even just be considered to document your beautiful and radiant life unfolding! Being trusted to capture these fleeting seasons of life is something I never take for granted. Below you’ll find more about my process and offerings for couples, maternity, newborn, and family sessions
here along the glittery Wilmington coast!
aloha, howdy, hello!
I’m a Hawai‘i girl turned East Coast photographer, trading island sunsets for coastal Carolina skies — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
What brought me from the islands to a new seashore? To take photos of you! Duh! Photographing couples and families has been a passion for as long as I can remember. There’s something sacred about preserving the way a hand fits in yours, the way your baby curls into your chest, the way your family laughs together in this exact season.
My approach is relaxed, movement-based, and rooted in real connection. I’ll guide you when needed, but I’m mostly here to create space — space for you to be yourselves, to play, to hold each other close, to let the moments unfold naturally.
More than beautiful images, I want you to leave your session feeling seen, celebrated, and grateful for the season you’re in. The photographs are the keepsake — but the experience matters just as much.
Grateful every day that this dream carried me from the islands to the coast, where I get to document love in its most honest form.
I just want to slow
down time!
ah, yes...time. Time has a way of moving a little faster once you get engaged, get married, then become a parent... These days — the ones that feel ordinary now — are often the ones you’ll want to remember most.
My sessions are relaxed and natural, focused on connection rather than perfection. We’ll wander, play, hold your babies close, and let the moments unfold as they are. The goal isn’t stiff poses, but photographs that feel honest and true to you.
You’ll leave with images that preserve this season — and a session that feels just as meaningful as the photographs themselves.

FAQ
How do I book a session?
For individual portrait sessions, you can begin by submitting an inquiry through one of the booking links after the Pricing Guide on my Website.
After your inquiry comes through, I’ll follow up with a customized proposal that includes your agreement, invoice, and portrait session guide. Once the creative fee is paid, your session is officially reserved on my calendar. After your gallery is delivered, you’ll be able to select the images you’d like to keep and invest in.
Interested in the Growing Seasons Collection instead?
Simply send me an email letting me know which stages you’d love to document — whether that’s maternity, newborn, or family sessions as your baby grows. I’ll walk you through the next steps so we can begin telling your family’s story together.
What does the creative fee cover?
A $300 session fee is needed to reserve a portrait session. This holds your place on my calendar and supports the preparation and care that go into creating a thoughtful, relaxed experience for your family.
Your session fee covers:
- Reserving your session date
- Planning and guidance leading up to your session
- Use of the client wardrobe for mothers and children
- Newborn wraps and swaddles when needed
- Help with coordinating outfits
- Optional makeup artist referrals and scheduling
- A preparation guide to walk you through what to expect
- A private online gallery to view your photographs
Digital images and artwork are selected separately once your gallery is ready.
Families who plan to photograph multiple seasons & book my Growing Seasons Collection may reserve their sessions with a 20% retainer rather than an individual session fee.
Do you offer payment plans?
Here are the typical payment plans for my services:

Additional quarterly or monthly payment plans for the Growing Seasons Collection are available upon request. Please let me know in your booking email if you would like to set up an alternative payment plan that best suits your needs.
How long will my session last?
The honest answer is — every session is a little different. Rather than working within a strict time limit, I focus on giving each family the space they need so the photographs come together naturally. What matters most is what we create, not the clock.
I’ll guide the flow of the session and wrap up once we’ve captured a full and meaningful set of images. Most maternity and family sessions tend to last around 30–60 minutes, while newborn sessions are usually closer to 90–120 minutes.
I follow the pace of your family, especially the little ones. When everyone starts to feel finished, that’s usually our cue. Years of experience have taught me how to work efficiently and gently, so we can create a beautiful variety of images without making the session feel long or overwhelming.
When will I see my images?
I know how exciting it is to see your photographs, and I love getting them into your hands as soon as they’re ready. Your online gallery will be delivered within two weeks of your session.
How many images will I recieve?
Your online gallery will include a minimum of 40 edited images. After viewing your gallery, you’ll be able to choose the images you love most.
Digital files are available in selections of 8 images, 20 images, or the full gallery.
When should I book maternity photos?
I typically suggest planning your maternity session around 28–35 weeks. By that point, your bump is bumpin' but you’re usually still feeling comfortable enough to move around!
Waiting much longer can be unpredictable — babies tend to make their own timelines — so scheduling during the late second or early third trimester helps ensure we don’t miss this season altogether.
When should I book newborn photos?
Newborn sessions are typically scheduled about one to three weeks after your baby arrives. This gives you space to adjust, breathe, and begin finding your rhythm before welcoming me in.
If timing shifts, don’t worry — those tiny details can still be captured up to 4–6 weeks. We’ll choose a date that feels right for you and your family.
